Indoor Wireless Dog Fence
This useful device, made by Innotek, keeps Rover out of certain areas in your home. Just put the disc-like transmitter under a couch or bed, in a plant, or by a door, and watch it do its job. The transmitter uses 3 AA batteries that will last about 6 months. When your dog comes within signal range it will receive a warning signal through its collar (an audible tone), and as it gets closer thiis becomes a mild correction that gets progressively stronger as the dog gets nearer.
This is a useful and affordable answer to all sorts of pet problems. Keep your dog from jumping up on visitors at the door? Protect your fine furniture? Keep Rover out of the kitchen trash? Stop him from begging for food at the dining room table? Protect a rug? There’s little or no training and no installation. All you to do is put one of these transmitters in place, set it to control a circle 1 to 10 feet wide, put the receiving collar on your dog, and watch him stay away from the zoned area.
This indoor wireless fence is compatible with the receiving collar for the Innotek Ultrasmart Contain and Train system. So you can get products 20-03 or 20-03A to contain and train your dog, and can then get one or more indoor transmitters (product 20-12A) to protect specific indoor areas.
You can get as many transmitters as you like to zone multiple places, and can also get as many collars as you like if you have more than one dog. Beyond that, each transmitter has an A/B switch that allows you to tune it to only one dog’s collar; so you can keep one dog away from the other dog’s food dish, keep one dog but not the other out of a specific room, and so forth.
The receiving collar shuts off automatically after a limited time to prevent unnecessary exposure to a corrective stimulation; and after shutting off it will then reactivate itself automatically. Each system comes with complete setup instructions, pet training directions, and a limited one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
