About Our Basic Dog Fence Kits
These fences range from 2 to 6 feet tall and 50 to 200 feet long. If set up in the form of a square the shortest would have 12.5-foot sides and the longest would have 50-foot sides. The parts for these fences include green pvc-coated fence rolls, strong green metal U-posts, zip-lock ties with 120-pound breaking strength for attaching the fencing to the posts, lengths of pvc-coated metal tie wire, and installation instructions. The fencing for the 2, 3, and 4-foot fences has 3-inch x 2-inch openings (wider than tall) and is made of 15-gauge welded steel wire. The fencing for the 6-foot fences has 2-inch x 4-inch openings (taller than wide) and is made of 13-gauge welded steel wire. Each kit includes enough posts to make the average distance between posts 10 feet or less. To order a specific fence kit click on 2-foot, 3-foot, 4-foot, or 6-foot kits.
Chewing is not a problem with this fence. However, those whose dog or dogs are inclined to dig may wish to get one of our anti-digging barriers (product 14-35GH) together with enough ground stakes (product 18-01A) to anchor it firmly. These barriers are offered in each of the tables that sell specific kits.
